Bella, that’s cool that your going to be working in a hospital. I’m only 15 but I’ve kind of set my heart on a career already. I wanted to go into nursing but eventually I wanted to become a peditrician and then to specialize in genetic disorders (but mainly PKU ). And yes you are right, just because we have PKU doesn’t mean we function any different. I’m just like all the other kids at school, accept I eat different. I’m getting grades in the B+ A- range, plus I go to dance classes like 5 days a week (which doesn’t help with handling the diet), I’m performing in the nutcracker (I’m soooo excited about that). We’re like everyone else, we just eat different. nBreanna
