Luckily I’ve solved this problem, I really don’t mind bringing a notebook to school and places with me because basically all of my friends know about my PKU. Plus even if they ask questions it doesn’t bother me.
I guess I just had to get into the habit of writting things down, and now I have . I won’t lie there are very few days when I do forget to write everything down, but my levels have been coming back good lately so I’m not to worried.
I just figure I’m going to be myself and that means eatting what I’m supposed to and keeping track of it and if someone doesn’t like it they can go eat lunch somewhere else. It’s like the saying “You laugh at me because I’m different, I laugh at you because your all the same!” I think of it this way, nobody is exactly the same and PKU is just what makes me different and I’m not afraid to be different.
