Hey guys,
Im Meaghan, and although I’m only 18 I think I might have a valid point (hopefully haha!) to make. The reason why I think there isn’t much for adults with PKU is,well because, the first known PKU patients are only becoming adults now. It’s easier to treat children and teens because they have had decades of young people to follow since 1966. The oldest PKU patients would only be around 45 or so by now. The best thing (and only thing I’ve ever done) is stay on the diet and take your medicine. It’s worked great for me since I was born.
