I think the reason they don’t have much on what happens to those with PKU as they get older is because they just don’t have the information. If doctors knew what will happen as we get older I’m sure they would tell us but the truth is that the oldest people with PKU are just reaching the 50’s because the newborn screening and the diet weren’t created until the 60’s. So basically, the doctors have to learn from their patients as they go along because they can’t just guess and predict what will happen. nBre
