    hi i’m finn I have classical pku and am 42 and have never hear of this new pill out to control your blood so it dosen’t effect the brain i woild give it a go if asked to. My blood levels have been up and down over the years, and have been on tablets for depression for a year now although and off them now Is there a link with pku and depression? I have 2 children they don’i have p.k.u and my diet was in good control during my pregency So i hope to get chatting to lots of people out there about anything.

    Hi Finn, nMy name is Tracie ,and i have Borderline PKU.
    I was told by my Dr.(PKU)not to take any depression meds.Thay interact with your nSerotonin levels which is in the brain.
    There actually is a list of meds we can’t take due to just that.
    I believe the Pill you are talking about is KUVAN.Contact BIOMARIN they are the makers of it,and they will supply you with a 45 day for free.
