So I understand that hyperphe is a milder version of PKU, but how much milder? About how many milligrams (or exchanges) can someone with hyperphe have per day? I know it would probably vary based on the individual, but I was just curious.
    Thanks.

Hmm…I’m not positive when Classical PKU becomes classified as Hyperphe. All I know is that me and my sister both have Classical PKU and we’re both allowed 300mg of phe. nBreanna 16 CPKU

So does it go classical pku, pku, hyperphe, on a continuum, based on how many milligrams of phenylalanine daily your body can handle?
