Hi everyone- nWe are starting to give our 10 month old finger foods. Any ideas for meal times would be great. I give him banana, cheerios, gerber puffs, crackers, and the usual pureed stuff but i am trying to introduce the new texture.
In the Low Protein cook book by Virgina Shuett (I can’t spell) there is a recipe for pancakes. It is basically wheat starch and applesauce. Those make good finger foods when cut in little pieces. Sarah
I am going through the same thing with my daughter. We started at 10 months and she is 11 mos. now. Those Gerber puffs and Wagon Wheels are great, canned carrots are soft, canned pears, over cooked broccoli…some things we’ve tried. Her dietician also sent us a box of Loprofin low protein penne pasta. She can pick it up and likes it. I’m having trouble getting her to finish the table food. I still have to give her a good bit of baby food.
