    Hello Everyone,
As some of you may know, in August of 2008 the International PKU Teen and Adult Conference took place in Chicago, IL. Thanks to the dedication of numerous professionals, especially Susan Waisbren, and the financial support from the industry and foundations, the conference was a success. I am happy to say most of the presentations were audio taped by Patient Power and those presentations are now available to listen to on their website at http://www.patientpower.info/pkuconference.asp.
I hope the audio from the conference is useful to those of you who were not able to attend. While it is wonderful to enable those who were not able to attend the conference to listen and learn, I hope you will consider attending the next conference in 2010 (dates and location TBD). Perhaps the biggest benefit of the conference was meeting and sharing with other people and that can only be experienced in person. If you are interested in receiving information about the next conference when the time comes, please email me your name, postal and email address and relation to PKU at pkuadult@aol.com.
Thanks to Patient Power for all their hard work taping the conference and all who made it a success, nSarah Foster nClassical PKU, age 38 nBoston, MA, USA
