2nd Annual PKU Family Fun Weekend 2012

February 25, 2012 in Uncategorized

Hello Everyone you are receiving this as a personal invite to The 2nd Annual PKU Family Fun Weekend. This weekend long series of events is to support The National PKU Food Bank (Phe-Nap). PKU is a rare metabolic disorder that effects 1 in 15,000 children in the US, and every baby born in the US is tested at birth for this disorder. Imagine paying $15.00 for a loaf of bread, or $12.00 for a box of pasta or $45.00 for a box of baking flour. That's exactly what people with PKU have to pay to follow a very strict and difficult medical diet. The National PKU Food Bank is the first of its kind to purchase food for struggling PKU individuals. Please come out at least two of the three days to support The National PKU Food Bank. If you can't make the weekend please sponsor our 5K walkers or send at least a small donation to The National PKU Food Bank P.O. Box 896 East Longmeadow, MA 01028 On behalf of the entire PKU Community Thank you for your support, and May God Bless You. Sincerely, Christopher Jay Howell Founder & CEO of The PKU Challenge and The National PKU Food Bank (a non-profit organization) {events include Meet & Greet, 5K walk, Laser Tag, Bowling & Vendor Night, Southwick Zoo Picnic day and many other games and attractions} http://new.evite.com/#view_invite:eid=01E2AAPMTMDWJMM5WEPBBS5INQNOGI Visit our website at www.PKUChallenge.org Christopher Howell Founder Of The PKU Challenge
