Hey I'm a new Mum of a PKU Daughter

August 28, 2011 in Uncategorized

Hi There, My name is Mandie and I live in new Zealand. There is only about 150 people in new Zealand and my Daughter was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with PKU and she is nearly a month old. I would love to hearing any parenting tips on food, staying on diet when she is older and managing other people/childrens attitude to PKU. Look forward to hearing from you.

Congrats on your baby girl. I have almost seven month old that has pku.so far everything is great. Her levels have been good. I am also new at this but I have learned a lot from my children clinic where I live. My family is very supportive . So far feeding her has been fairly easy. She is not a picky eater. Good luck to you
