So, how do you feel when you crash? I had a bad experience this weekend, and it doesn't happen to me very often. I'm on Kuvan, and right now we're trying to determine my new tolerance level. I'm drinking soy milk to add extra protein to my diet, but I drank it too fast and crashed. Hard. I felt foggy. Had a hard time communicating. Had no energy. Pretty much laid on the couch all day yesterday. So my question is, "What happens to you when you crash?"

Hi! I’ve been on Kuvan for 4 years. I totally understand what you mean by “crashing.” I find it happens when I don’t eat enough, and I think it is the Kuvan breaking the amino acids down quickly with no restoring from food. Try to eat throughout the entire day to maintain your energy supply. Hope this helps!
