Hello everyone. This is my first blog entry here on PKU.com, and I thought I'd take some time to share a video with you that I recently produced. I've always been a bit isolated from other PKU patients since there aren't many in my area. But with all of the challenges we're facing regarding formula I felt like it was time to get involved. I'm a videographer and documentary filmmaker by trade, so I decided to make a video. Just wanted to tell my story to those who don't know about PKU, but hopefully it will be inspiring to those of you who have it. You can watch the video here: www.youtube.com/creativecontrolfilms I made this video from the perspective of someone who's been well-treated. I've always been fortunate that my condition isn't as strict as others. I've had a fairly high tolerance level. But to a certain degree each person's PKU is a bit different. We all respond differently. So to those who haven't received as much treatment as is ideal, I can only say that we are all here for you. We can't change what's happened in the past, but we can be here for each other here on out.
